Your Favorite Alcoholic Drinks Ranked by Calorie Count

As someone who battles with IR on a daily basis, I can attest to the damage of poorly made sugary cocktails. When concocted correctly with a splash of sophistication these eleven drinks can typically all behave under 200 calories a standard glass (approx.4-5oz) or even a 12 oz. beer bottle. Meaning, you should be able to enjoy yourself without any self-loathing on Monday. I have also provided a link at the bottom for my top 5 major tips for ordering drinks with your figure and health in mind! Please feel free to share any tips or tricks that you use when cutting back and letting loose…without having to actually loosen your pants too.

It’s important to keep in mind that these particular drinks are more of the exception than the rule and they must be made accurately without any simple syrup or preservative-riddled pre-mixes (ew). There are most definitely places and particular drinks that you want to avoid at all costs if you want to drink…healthy? Lets just call it “damage control”. For Instance, you could rack up some hefty calories with these contenders;

Olive Garden’s Peach Sangria (260)

Longhorns’ Pina Colada (420)

Red Lobster’s House Frozen Margarita (470)

or even just the  average  calories in a Mai-tai (400) and Long Island (530)
